Finally. Some *perfect* weather. We went for a lovely park romp Sunday afternoon. Of course we just had to stop at this funky bench for some pictures along the way.

Unfortunately, the bench slats were a bit too far apart...

I think these new Naartjie outfits might just rank up in the all time favorites. I LOVE them. Can you imagine beach portraits in these?

Park trips look a bit different then they did last summer. No more setting up a big blanket under a shady tree with little baby Juliana. No more popping a tiny baby in a sling so I could chase after Gabriella. Now it is two kids on the go in two different directions. Juliana sees no reason why she shouldn't climb as high as any other kid... even ones three times her size. She LOVES to swing. The higher the better. Gabriella is also much more daring this year. She still loves slides, but she has decided she also loves to climb. She easily scaled a tall climbing ladder on the play structure and made it almost all the way up the "rock wall." She even gave the swings a second chance.

As always, heading back home is the hardest part.
