Spring Sprung?

I LOVE spring. You probably hear me say it every year. You probably think, "OK sure, everyone loves spring." All I can say is that I really, really, love spring. Jonathan and I make extra drives around town to admire the cherry trees and Gabriella and I point out every little bloom we see on our walks. This is our first spring in this house and we've discovered that the two trees in the backyard (that previously recieved very little of our attention) are cherry trees. I love that the view out our living room window is filled with pink splashy cherry blossoms. However satisfactory the blooming plant life may be, I'm still waiting for some real playing outdoors weather. Portland springs are rainy, but one can always hope for warmish days inbetween the rain.

I love spring too, but it just hasn't sprung in Iowa jet according to the multiple inches of snow mother nature sent our way.

What a wonderful surprise to find out you have your very own cherry trees to enjoy! We were 2 weeks too early in our visit, or we could have enjoyed peering out the window too---flowering trees are so gorgeous. I also love your holly tree. It's dark green foliage and red berries can be enjoyed year-round. Yup, your home keeps getting better and better. The Lord is good. Kathryn
