When Bonsais Attack

Perhaps if I taught Gabriella to not only take pictures, but edit/resize them, upload them and post them blog might be updated a bit more often.

Jonathan is done with classes for the semester and that has given us extra time to alternately romp outside in the sunshine as a family and do some serious spring cleaning. Soon summer activities and responsibilities and work schedules will creep up on us, but for now we're enjoying the extra time together.

For Mothers Day we enjoyed a lovely day downtown and a visit to the Chinese gardens. I have a few more pictures to share from that, but for now I will leave you with this...

This is a rhododendron bonsai tree

This is the face you make when a bonsai rhododendron hits you in the face. Or rather, when your mom asks you to stand near a bonsai rhododendren to take a picture and you walk right into it.
