Did you warn her that she might wind up with a baby brother instead and that brothers are a whole different ball of wax? She might be less enthused about that prospect, but then again maybe not!
You know what, at the time I didn't think to tell her that we could end up with a baby boy... I think after two girls I've half convinced myself that Jonathan can actually will girls into existance or at least that God takes pity on his pleading for girls and humors him.
Anyhow, I as curious as to her thoughts on the matter so just now I said to her, "You know, if Mommy and Daddy did ever have another baby, it might be a baby boy." She looked a bit surprised, thought for a moment and said "Oh. Well then I guess Daddy would take care of it."
I think it goes to show that she is pretty close to her little sister and thinks more of a good thing would be nice!
